Who is Zonta?
Zonta International is a global organisation of professional business women empowering women and girls worldwide through service and advocacy. We advocate for issues that affect women locally, nationally and internationally by focussing on sustainable change through empowerment, education and support.
Canberra Zonta Breakfast club raises funds through their Pre-loved fashion sale, assembling birthing kits that support women in developing nations to decrease the risk of maternal and infant death, making breast care cushions for those recovering from breast surgery across our region, provide kitchen starter packs to support women and families rebuilding after domestic violence, and education scholarships encouraging women and girls in science technology, engineering and maths as well as business and public affairs and a doctoral scholarship for female students studying astronomy at ANU.
